I grew up in the United States where I developed an interest in neuroscience at a young age. In high school I had the opportunity to intern in a neuroscience lab at the University of Nevada, Reno, studying mouse development, which cemented my interest in pursuing neuroscience research. I am now an undergraduate student studying Neuroscience at the University of Edinburgh, where I have been able to focus my interests in developmental and behavioural neuroscience.
I am completing my Honours year dissertation in the kinship lab, focusing on analyzing rat vocalizations with respect to kinship behaviour.
Michelle is now enrolled in a Master’s programme at Georgetown University in the US.
